What do I do if my child has a problem at school?
Normally the first point of contact for you is the form tutor.  You can leave a message at the switch board or write a note in the planner.  If the form tutor is unable to resolve the problem then you can speak to the appropriate Phase Leader.

What do I do if my child has a problem with a particular subject?
The first person you should contact is the subject teacher, explain what the difficulty is and ask for suggestions to resolve the problem.  The next point of reference is the Head of Faculty.  Again contact can be made through the school switchboard or via a note in the planner.

What to I do if my child is ill?
If your child is too ill to come to school please telephone the Attendance Officer on 020 8940 6954 to let us know.  If we don't hear from you and your child is not in school we will try to phone you.  When your child returns to school please write a note to the tutor to explain the absence.

If my child is late for school what should he or she do?
If your child is late for school before the end of registration (8:45 am) they should go straight to their form tutor or go to the assembly hall on assembly days and register with their tutor. If they arrive after registration they should see the Attendance Officer and get a late slip. This has to be taken to the first lesson and then given to the tutor during afternoon registration. You should be aware that if your child is later than half an hour after registration it will be counted as unauthorised absence or truancy unless you provide a note explaining the lateness.
