Key Dates for the Sixth Form

July 2016

All year 10 students will log in to UCAS Progress and enter their basic data. This is the start of all applications to sixth forms in Richmond Borough. Note that some FE colleges are not using UCAS Progress and student should apply directly to the college.

August 25th 2016 GCSE results day and Sixth Form enrolment day. All your hard work will have paid off and you will be able to enrol for the sixth form. If you have not met the required grades in the subjects you want to study you can meet with a member of the sixth form team to discuss alternative courses.
August 26th 2016 Enrolment day for student new to Grey Court School. Please bring a copy of your results certificate with you and a copy of your last report from your previous school. Existing Grey court students can also come and meet with the sixth form team on this day if they wish.
September 2016 Start of Sixth Form.

1st October 2016

UCAS Progress is open for applications. All students in Year 11 will choose the courses they want to study after GCSEs. The school will automatically add predicted grades for each applicant and a reference written by their teachers will be attached to their application.

8th January 2017

The application to sixth form progress will close. Any applications received after this date will go to the end of the waiting list so make sure you get your application in on time.

January and February 2017

You will be invited for an interview where you can discuss your subject choices with a member of the sixth form team.

March 2017

Letters offering places at sixth form will be sent out.
