The young sportsmen and women of the school made their way to the Brit Oval to celebrate a year of sporting achievement and success.  Dressed in their finery they were treated to a two course meal in the "Ashes" room and then shared the celebration of personal and team successes with their peers.  The guest of honour was Ben Challenger commonwealth high jumper who is hoping to represent Britain in the upcoming olympics in China.  It was a very successful evening although tinged with a little sadness as it also marked the farewell event of Mr Gordon Secker who is retiring from the school after being head of Physical Education for the past 18 years.  We wish him well in his retirement and hope that he continues to keep in touch with the school.  The photographs that follow show what a wonderful evening it was.
