COMEDY NIGHT FRIDAY JANUARY 30TH 2015

For the second year running over 120 of us enjoyed a hilarious evening of comedy in the school hall. With three very different professional and extremely talented stand-up comedians coming to entertain us hosted by our own multi-talented parent Carl James.Put the date in your new diary for next year and don’t miss out on tickets Friday 5th February 2016.

RICHMOND FAIR MAY 2015

Two of our main events each year are our support of the Richmond May Fair and the Ham Fair. These are wonderful events for the whole community and Grey Court features at both under our fantastic new Grey Court gazebos, which enables us to raise much needed funds for your children at the school.
This year at the Richmond Fair on Saturday we provided a Hot Dog, Cake and Drink stall – with many customers returning for seconds, due to the quality of our sausages! To run a stall like this for 6 hours takes a lot of preparation, a large number of volunteers on the day and lots of volunteers to make cakes beforehand and so a huge Thank You to all who helped. This year’s efforts raised over £1,000.

HAM FAIR JUNE 2015

Once again Grey Court provided a fruity experience at the Ham Fair on Saturday. The Human Fruit Machine was made by DT technician Phil Austin and decorated by Hannah Mollallegan from Reprographics. The stall was once more a great success manned by the students and raised nearly £300. Thanks to the parents and students who turned up on the day and those who provided cakes for sale. Do watch out for the dates and requests for help and produce for next year’s fairs.

MID-SUMMER PARTY 19TH JUNE 2015

This year we held our first Midsummer party. We were blessed by having a beautiful summer’s evening and were very lucky to have the fantastic Grey Court Richmond Music Trust Jazz band to get our evening off to a swinging start. We then danced on to some fantastic 70’s 80’ and 90’s music with our DJ Johnny Blackburn.  It was a great opportunity for parents to meet up and socialise and enjoy a drink or two under the stars.
