Overview
Statistics is one of the most versatile areas of mathematics, playing a significant role in the understanding and communication of information in our modern society. Students develop an understanding of the basics of statistical problem solving and its application in real life scenarios.
Facilities
Statistics is taught in one of the six large classrooms in the maths block.
Key Stage 4
Students gain the skills to collect, analyse, interpret and present data. They explore the limitations and misuse of statistics and learn about the correlation between maths and statistics.
