Grey Court School is proud of its tradition of offering students a full programme of visits and trips.
Many of these trips are based around the languages our students learn. Every year, our Year 10 students are invited to take part in residential trips to Spain and France. In addition, we are proud to have run a one-week trip to China for the first time in October 2018 and are hoping to run it every other year in the future. Key Stage 3 students currently visit the Lille Christmas market in December and our German students have the chance to go to Berlin in January.
Ski trips are organised once every two years, with the last trips in February 2018. This year, we are very excited to have introduced a Year 11 history trip to Berlin, during which students will explore the history of the Cold War.
During Activity week, year 9 students are given the opportunity to attend a multi-activity residential trip and year 7s also spend time on adventures further afield.
Those studying science A’ levels have the chance to visit Cern and gain first-hand knowledge of the Large Hadron Collider. In addition all students during their time at Grey Court will take part in a number of field trips and museum visits which help to further enhance the school curriculum.
