Overview
Biology is crucial to understanding the fundamentals of life. It is an essential science which encourages students to investigate the living world and develop core skills in scientific methodology and research. The study of biology covers plants, animals, health, genetics and the sustainable world. Students consider the application of biology within a wide variety of contexts such as medical cures, the world food crisis, solving crimes and protecting the natural world.
