VPA scholarship
Our visual and performing arts (VPA) scholarship is aimed at high-achieving students in year 7. We nurture burgeoning talent in those who show commitment and dedication to art, drama, dance and music.
Students receive an enhanced curriculum in art, drama and music, centred around their individual interests and talents.
In music tech I have learnt how to compose a music piece from scratch, and in art I have learnt how to draw nuances from other artistic styles.

Students will be guided in developing their unique artistic voice, be that for pleasure or to pursue a career in the visual and performing arts. The curriculum covers broad, interlinked themes, including skills needed to excel in productions, eg stage design, props, character development, and lighting/sound. Scholars gain access to specialist equipment and opportunities to develop skills above their standard level of study.
I've learnt so many new skills and my confidence in drama when performing in front of my peers has improved so much because of all the support I've had from my teachers.
